Audition call for ‘Nunsensations’

CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ — The Park Players will be holding auditions for their production of “Nunsensations” on December 1 and 3 at 7:00 p.m., at Pseudolus’ Party Planner, 574 Anderson Avenue. The play will be performed in March of 2009.

Those auditioning should be prepared to sing and dance. Men and women are being auditioned for the roles of Sister Hubert, Sister Leo and Sister Amnesia.

In the play, the Nunsense Vegas Revue takes the sisters on an adventure. When a parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters’ school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, the Mother Superior is hesistant to accept. However, after being convinced by the other sisters that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” Reverend Mother agrees.
