By RICHARD A. ROSS

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The cross-country season is over but the accolades continue to pour in for those who triumphed on the trails this fall. Among those named to the OCIAA first-team all-stars was Monticello senior Jessica Fingers. She was selected as this year’s senior runner of the year and she won the sportsmanship award.

Fingers finished second in Section Nine and sixth in the state meet.

Other county runners who garnered all-star status included Sullivan West’s Rianne Erlwein, who was named to the second team, along with Tri-Valley’s Rachel Sanborn. Both competed in the state meet following fine runs in the Section Nine championships.

Monticello’s Emma Cohen and Justine Davis were named as third-team all-stars. Both competed at the state meet.

Sullivan West’s Colin Seidl, who finished third at states in Class C, was named to the second-team all-stars. Monticello’s David Wilbur was named to the second team and teammate Thomas Gonzalez received honorable mention.
