Lutherans to hold Fellowship Fair

Special Thanksgiving pie sale to help fund winter heating

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Women’s Group of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will sponsor its annual Fellowship Fair on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parish hall at 31 Erie Avenue. Lunch will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and will include a variety of homemade soups, hot beef on a bun, desserts and beverages.

The event will feature a bake sale, Rada Cutlery, crafts and a white elephant table with many surprise items. To aid in meeting the costs of this winter’s heating fuel for the parish, the parishioners of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will have home-baked apple and pumpkin pies on sale for Thanksgiving, with tickets costing $8 available at the fair. Tickets can also be obtained at church services or by calling 845/252-3903. The deadline for orders is Thursday, November 20. Pies may be picked up at the parish hall, 31 Erie Avenue, on Wednesday, November 25 between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the fair will benefit various needs of the parish. A portion of the profit will be matched by Thrivent for Lutherans.
