SCDW to present dress rehearsal of ‘Proof’

HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will present “Proof,” a production that has been chosen for statewide competition at the Theatre Association of New York State (TANYS) Festival, on Sunday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sullivan County Museum.

This will be the last chance to see the show before its trip to the TANYS Festival. David Auburn’s play is a story of a young woman, who, on the eve of her 25th birthday is wondering how much of her brilliant father’s genius or madness she has inherited. The play features performances by Rebecca Robbins, Max Schaefer, Jim Sullivan and Laura Ogden under the direction of Lori Schneider-Wendt.

The cost of admission is a suggested $10 donation, which includes desserts served during intermission. The Sullivan County Museum is located at 265 Main Street, and has limited parking in a parking lot behind the museum or along Main Street.
