‘Art in Sixes’ back for a fourth year

NARROWSBURG, NY — “Art in Sixes,” an exhibition of small works by local artists, opens at the Alliance Gallery on Saturday, November 15, with a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on view through December 20.

A highly anticipated annual year-end tradition, “Art in Sixes” is comprised of works no larger than six inches in any direction. This group exhibition includes a large number of artists in all media including paintings, drawings, sculpture, fibers and more. On view throughout the holiday season, all works of art are for sale.

“The small works exhibition is in many ways a thumbnail picture of the wide variety of artists that we have in our community. It also provides an exceptional opportunity for more artists to participate and gives the public a greater chance to view and acquire unique artwork in an affordable format,” said Rocky Pinciotti, gallery director.

The exhibit, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, the Arts Council for Sullivan County, and is made possible in part with funding from the Visual Arts Program of the New York State Council on the Arts.

The Alliance Gallery is located at the Delaware Arts Center at 37 Main Street. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
