NACL Borscht Bash benefit to be held in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY — There will be a benefit bash for NACL Theatre in Brooklyn, at The Lava Studio at 524 Bergen Street, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15. Titled “Borscht Bash,” the event is a party to benefit the theatre and its New York City premiere of “The Uncanny Appearance Of Sherlock Holmes” this December.

The evening will kick off with live jazz and NACL’s Harvest Borscht, prepared with organic farm-fresh vegetables from the Catskills, and served with hearty bread and cheese. Actress Susan Dey will auction off luxurious items “for the body, mind, and soul.” Following the auction there will be a sampling of performances from some of the New York artists who have been presented by NACL over the years. Also included will be a sneak peek into NACL’s newest performance, “The Uncanny Appearance of Sherlock Holmes.” A dance party featuring the big brass sounds of The Hungry March Band will finish off the evening.

Cost of admission is on a sliding scale from $25 to $75.

For more information email tannis@nacl.org or call 845/557-0694.
