CAS opens holiday show with birthday party

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Arts Center’s (CAS) Members Show & Holiday Fair will run from Saturday, November 15 through Tuesday, December 30. Works of CAS members will be displayed throughout the gallery, providing an opportunity to do holiday shopping for locally produced arts and crafts. Gallery hours will be expanded from the usual Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., with hours added on Monday and Tuesday, December 23 and 23 and 29 and 30, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. The gallery will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It is located at 48 Main Street in Livingston Manor and is wheelchair accessible.

On the opening day of the show, CAS will host its annual members meeting from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by an opening reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be a cake cutting to celebrate the gallery’s first birthday at 4:00 p.m.
