Amateur photography competition

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The Jeffersonville Branch of the Western-Sullivan Public Library will once again be hosting the Annual Peter Roidl Amateur Photography Competition and Show. Entries will be accepted from November 1 through November 12. All amateur photographers are welcome to compete.

Categories range from color photographs of people, animals, landscapes and structures to black and white, dark room or digitally manipulated prints. There is also a division for photographs taken by children and young adults up to and including age sixteen.

All those interested may pick up an entry form at any of the three branches of the library in Jeffersonville, Callicoon or Narrowsburg.

The show will take place in the community room at the Jeffersonville branch on Sunday, November 16 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Awards will be distributed at that time.
