Kids can track animals at PPL center

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, PA — Children ages three through five are invited to discover the fun of animal tracking from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, at PPL’s Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center. The free event is part of the center’s Nature Tales series.

Katie Gill, PPL naturalist, will begin the program with a reading of “Animals in Winter” and then talk about how animals cope with cold weather. Participants will enjoy a short hike on nearby trails in search of animal tracks and signs. Please dress for outdoor weather.

The learning center is off Route 6 just east of the intersection of Routes 590 and 6 and next to Wallenpaupack Area High School. Space is limited for this free program. Registration is required.
