Lumberland welcomes pianist Michalak

GLEN SPEY, NY — The Town of Lumberland Cultural Series will present a program called “Romantic Treasures,” featuring pianist Gregg Michalak, on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lumberland Town Hall, 1054 Proctor Road.

Michalak has performed with many noted artists, conductors and orchestras and is a consummate teacher with many prize-winning students. He serves on the staff and faculties of Vassar College and Ulster County Community College. He also recorded the Beethoven Piano Concertos Nos. 3 and 4 with Stephen Langer and the Aeolian Symphony.

A meet-the-artists reception will follow the performance. Cake, coffee and punch will be served.
