Murderous happenings at hillbilly reunion

ELDRED, NY — Big Sky Productions will put on an audience-participation murder mystery as a benefit for the Town of Highland Lions Club on Saturday, October 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Eldred Preserve on Route 55. The show, titled “The Hilarious Hillbilly Massacre” and written by Peter DiPietro, is set at a hillbilly reunion.

Reunion hosts are Huck Birchbumble (Mike Valentine of Livingston Manor), his wife, Gardenia (Carol Montana of Grahamsville), daughter Sally Mae (Constance Lawrence of Divine Corners), daughter Mary Lou (S. Lavelle of Liberty), Jethro Brylcream (Paul Ciliberto of Thunder 102), and IRS/FBI agent Clementine/Patty Serendipity (Carol Bliefernich of Highland Lake). The show is directed by Carol Montana.

Tickets cost $35 per person and include dinner and the show. Moonshine will be available, for pay. The dinner includes soup, Cornish hens with wild rice and vegetables and dessert.

The show contains mature humor and is not recommended for children.

Doors and the cash bar open at 6:00 p.m., and dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.
