Costumed kids and canines: Must be PumpkinFest!

BARRYVILLE, NY — Crowds thronged Barryville last weekend during the sixth annual PumpkinFest, enjoying the many creative costumes sported by children, adults, dogs and pumpkins. Amid the glorious fall foliage and the Delaware River’s glistening flow, festival-goers consumed harvest foods, bought local produce from regional farmers, shopped various craft booths and competed in contests ranging from pumpkin-carving to scarecrow-making. Live music, a pig roast, fireworks and a bonfire rounded out the fun-filled fall day. For more photos see page 16 of the print newspaper.
