Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River celebrates its 30th at Damascus Elementary School

DAMASCUS, PA—This year, the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River turns 30. The anniversary will be celebrated at Damascus Elementary School with the Upper Delaware EXPO on Saturday, October 25. There will be an opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m. that spotlights the history of the organization, and winners of a ninth- through 12-grade art contest will be announced and awarded their prizes.

Prodigy from the Ukraine featured at Shandelee family concert

MONTICELLO, NY—The Shandelee Music Festival will hold its inaugural Fall Family Concert in the Arnold Hughs Auditorium of Monticello High School on Saturday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m. The special concert will feature pianist Inna Faliks, who will perform works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Ravel and Brahms and will have open discussions with the audience regarding the pieces performed.
