SCDW ends season with a shivery Halloween treat

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will end its 2008 season with Stephen King’s psychological drama “Misery.” Performances will be on Friday, October 24; Saturday, October 25, Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1 at 8:00 p.m.; and on Sunday, October 26 and November 2 at 2:00 p.m. The location will be the Nartoff-Wells Auditorium of the landmark Rivoli Theatre.

Playwright and director Sally Gladden directs DeLois “Cookie” House (Ellenville) playing the role of Annie Wilkes and Wayne Kreuscher (New Paltz) playing Paul Sheldon, a famous author. Together these two seasoned performers take on the challenge of this award-winning play in which Annie keeps accident victim Paul Sheldon prisoner in her home.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors, $7 for students and children. The box office at the Rivoli opens one half hour before curtain. For Friday, October 24 only, if you cannot afford a regular price ticket, you are invited to pay what you can.
