An evening with a Celtic beat

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Sullivan County Community College (SCCC) will host a special performance by The Prodigals and the Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe called “Celtic Music with a Rock Beat” on Saturday, October 18 at 8 p.m. in the Seelig Theatre.

The evening will feature the music of The Prodigals, a four-member band known for their blend of traditional Irish melodies, singer-songwriter lyrics and jazz-funk rhythm section. The Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe will offer a high-stepping Irish dance show, combining traditional forms with new choreography by former All-Ireland and World Champion dancer O’Leary. The event is co-sponsored by the Sullivan County Democrat and WJFF Radio.

Tickets cost $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students.
