Harmony in Honesdale

HONESDALE, NY — The Northeasters Barbershop Chorus of the Honesdale Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, directed by Bob Mains, will perform its 30th annual show on Saturday, October 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Honesdale High School. The show is titled “Sentimental Journey.” It is a nostalgic journey through memorable times past, featuring songs such as “ Sh-Boom,” “Try to Remember,” “A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Sentimental Journey” and some great songs that never became too popular. Three Chapter Quartets will also perform.

The championship guest quartet is Wheelhouse. The four members come from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and have been singing together since 2002.

Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $5 for students, and may be purchased at the door or from any student.
