A day to see clay

Festival offers pottery, music

and messing about with clay

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The sixth annual Pottery Show will take place on Saturday, October 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The potters of Sullivan County will gather their vessels, bowls, pitchers, vases, mugs, pinch pots and jewelry to showcase their wide variety of styles and talents. The event provides an opportunity to get a start on the holiday season and shop local.

Some of the potters participating this year are Jill Wiener of Earthgirl Pottery, Carolyn Duke of Duke Pottery, Ayla Maloney of Honey Hill Pottery and Kim Lust of Bluestone Pottery. The all-day event will feature the music of singer/songwriter Janet Burgan. Clay activities are planned for the kids.
