Ravens’ new righty

Liberty’s Evan Kirsch promised to Division II Northeast Region winner Franklin Pierce University

By RICHARD A. ROSS

LIBERTY, NY — Good pitching beats good hitting, and teams at any level, in the hunt for dominance, always scout for good arms. You can never have too much pitching.

Locally, one of those promising arms belongs to Liberty senior Evan Kirsch, a Varsity 845 all star, who has been looking for a college where he could make an impact next fall. Kirsch found that match at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH and he has offered a verbal commitment to play for the Division II powerhouse next fall. The Ravens are the reigning Northeast champions and have made three consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Visit riverreportersports.com for more on Kirsch’s career, the process of seeking and finding a school that fits his needs and his hopes for playing at Franklin Pierce U.
