Are you Ag Experienced?

BETHEL, NY — Cornell Cooperative Extension will present a day of informative agricultural exhibits and farming activities in Bethel Woods’ Harvest Festival’s Ag Experience event this Sunday, September 28. Exhibits include master gardeners, cows, horses, maple syrup, bee keeping and more. There will be live music by Basket Landing at 11:30 a.m. and The Bernstein Trio at 1:45 p.m. Local author Larry Winter will also be on hand to sign copies his book, “The Making and Un-Making of a Marine.”

Activities for the little ones in the Children’s Area will include making wool, beads and macaroni necklaces with 4-H Paws Hooves & Hands and creating projects out of bamboo plants, flowers, organics and flower clay with Matt Sherman.

The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods occurs every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Columbus Day weekend, rain or shine.
