Nature treks at PEEC

LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, PA — The staff at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans Ferry is exploring a variety of nature themes during the center’s fall nature treks. The Dingmans Falls Equinox Walk will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Participants will meet at the Dingmans Falls parking lot for the walk. This nature trek is $6 per person for PEEC members and $8 for non-members.

John Serrao, one of the most knowledgeable naturalists in the Pocono Mountain area, will lead an exploration of the forests, fields, streams, wetlands and waterways of our National Recreation Area during a free hike on September 30 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
