NARROWSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Sheriffs Office conducted a selective enforcement event on September 11 on Route 97 just outside the hamlet of Narrowsburg. Deputies Lamar Jackson, Blake Starner and Scott Galligan checked the automobile registrations and inspections, as well as proper use of seatbelts and cell phones of passing motorists. The unannounced spot checks will continue to occur throughout Sullivan County as a routine measure to improve roadway safety for drivers and citizens.
