Duck race to provide a climax to Jeff Fest

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY—The third annual Jeff Fest, scheduled for Saturday, September 20, will start at 11:00 a.m. and reach a climax with the annual duck race at 4:00 p.m. All eyes will be fixed on Callicoon Creek as 1,200 brightly colored plastic ducks bob down the whitewater course from the Millpond to the Schadt Memorial Bridge. The first- place winner will receive $200, second place $100, third place $50 and the last duck receives a gift certificate to Specially U Beauty Salon.

GLEN SPEY, NY—The Town of Lumberland Cultural Series will present a Country Heritage Music Revue on Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lumberland Town Hall, 1054 Proctor Road. It will feature country music artists Ron and Nancy OneSong.
