Kids have their own day in DeHoyas Park

MONTICELLO, NY — The Boys & Girls Clubs, in partnership with the Monticello Communities that Care, will hold the second annual Day for Kids in DeHoyas Park on Saturday, September 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The all-day event is dedicated to celebrating children and giving them opportunities to participate in a wide variety of free activities.

Youth from all over Sullivan County are welcome to attend to enjoy activities including arts and crafts, basketball games, relay races, double dutch and more. Food will also be provided for free throughout the day. Visitors driving to the event should park at the Monticello High School, where shuttle buses to and from the park will be provided.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sullivan County provides a safe, positive and constructive place for youth ages five to 18 to spend their free time. Through after-school programs, evening and weekend special events, summer camps and various other youth programs, the Boys & Girls Clubs touch the lives of over 3,000 youth annually.
