Wanted: beautiful flower gardens
SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY SullivanArc and Sullivan Renaissance are looking for beautiful flower gardens to be viewed during a benefit Bicentennial Garden Tour in July 2009. The tour will feature interesting and special flower gardens throughout the county. The two organizations are looking for homeowners willing to exhibit their private gardens to a limited number of individuals as a benefit for the SullivanArc Horticulture Program. Approximately ten gardens will be selected for viewing. Volunteers will assist at each garden.
The garden tour is being initiated as part of the 200th anniversary celebration of the founding of Sullivan County.

SullivanArc is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to providing support and services to over 800 individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities and to their families. Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation.
