LILLIAN A. BOGERT
Lillian A. Bogert of Youngsville, NY, a homemaker and a longtime resident of the area, died August 31, 2008 at home. She was 97.
The daughter of Frederick and Florence Conklin Bischoff, she was born June 23, 1911 in Kings Park, NY. She was the widow of Burton Bogert, who passed away in 1987.
She was a member of the United Reformed Church of Youngsville and the ladies aide of the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Everett of Neversink, NY and Rose Clark and husband Donald of Swan Lake, NY; two sons, Leslie Bogert and wife Dian of Jeffersonville, NY and Warren Bogert of Youngsville; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Jean Andreassen.
Services were held Wednesday, September 3 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Burial was in Callicoon Center Cemetery, Callicoon Center, NY.

FRANCES M. CAGGIANO
Frances M. Caggiano, a retired bookkeeper for Dr. Navare in Middletown, NY, died on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Elant in Goshen, NY. She was 81.
The daughter of the late Jack and Dagmar Dahl Gardella, she was born on October 21, 1926 in New York City.
She was the widow of Robert E. Caggiano.
Survivors include her children, Constancellen Navare and husband Jagadish of Suffern, NY, John Caggiano and wife Patricia of Whitestone, NY, Veronica Lambros and husband Theodore of Barryville, NY and Barbara Caggiano of Matamoras, PA; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul and John Gardella; and her granddaughter, Maya Navare.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 2 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Andrew Avellino Church, Flushing, NY.
Burial will be in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY.

ANGELO M. DIBENEDETTO
Angelo M. DiBenedetto, a 10-year resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, formerly of Astoria, Queens, entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 75.
Son of the late Thomas and Clara DiTullio DiBenedetto, he was born on March 22, 1933 in Orsogna, Italy. He married the love of his life, Patricia Redding, on May 13, 1956 in Astoria. Mrs. DiBenedetto survives at home in Poughkeepsie.
Angelo worked as a stockbroker on the New York Stock Exchange. After retirement, he relocated to the Poughkeepsie area. Angelo was a supporter of J&R Cigars; he could always be seen with a cigar and a cup of joe in hand.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Thomas J. DiBenedetto and wife Jeanette of Beacon, NY; his daughter, Karen Knutsen and husband Richard of Wappingers Falls, NY; brothers Dr. Anthony DiBenedetto and wife Teresa of Rochester, NY and Donald DiBenedetto and wife Marge of Manhattan; sister Linda Kells and her husband Matthew of Manhattan; sisters-in-law Debbie Frohm of Glen Spey, NY and Maureen Conti and husband John of Fishkill, NY; grandchildren Kimberly, Jennifer, Brian and Marc; and several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Tina Ondocin.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2 at St. Marys Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment followed in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.

RICHARD JOHN GUEVREKIAN
Richard John Guevrekian of Callicoon Center, NY died Sunday August 24, 2008 in his home. He was 52.
He was born August 10, 1956 in Queens, NY, the son of Jack Guevrekian, now deceased, and Irma Guevrekian.
After 20 years in medical equipment sales, Richard fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. He taught high school mathematics, most recently at Livingston Manor Central School District. His students remarked on his ability to show you a concept 10 different ways until you understood it.
Richard served as a Scoutmaster. He was a loving father and dedicated teacher and a faithful and loyal friend. He faced many obstacles with courage and unfailing kindness, leaving the world a better place.
Surviving are his daughter, Samantha Guevrekian; and his sister, Nadine Tinger.
The funeral took place on Friday, August 29 at Holy Martyrs Armenian Church in Bayside, NY.
RICHARD F. HENDRICKSON
Richard F. Hendrickson of Jeffersonville, NY entered into eternal life peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 71.
He was born on July 8, 1937 in Cornwall, NY to William E. and Helen Holstead Hendrickson Sr.
Rich was a past minister for the Walker Valley Methodist Church; a retired self-employed contractor and most recently with the Times-Herald Record. A loving and caring father and grandfather, Rich lived a beautiful life and was everyones friend. He will be sadly missed.
Rich leaves behind his daughters, Kelly Sattler and her husband Bill and Holly Hendrickson-Shook and her fiancé Adam Mones, all of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Donald T. Hendrickson and his wife Vivian of Livingston Manor, NY and William Hendrickson and his wife Carol of Florida; seven grandchildren, Autumn Shook, Alisha Purdy and her husband Greg, BJ Sattler Jr., Bridgete, Amy, Ashley and Heather Sattler; two great-grandchildren, Ariana and Piper Purdy and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son, Shawn Hendrickson.
A graveside Service was held Tuesday, September 2 at the Walker Valley Methodist Cemetery, Walker Valley, NY.

WILLIAM C. LIVINGSTON
William C. Livingston of Eldred, NY, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was 53.
He was born March 3, 1955 in Port Jervis, the son of Joseph and Evelyn MacIntyre Livingston.
William worked as a carpenter at Camp Lokanda, Glen Spey, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Ehrets Livingston of Eldred; parents Joseph and Evelyn MacIntyre Livingston of Eldred; sister Jo Ann Wadhwa and husband Jagdish of Wappinger Falls, NY; five nieces and one nephew, Lisa, Stacey, Kristen, Eric, Tara and Nicole.
A religious service was held at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., Port Jervis, NY on Tuesday, September 2 with the Rev. Ivan Cheda officiating. Interment followed at St. Anthonys Cemetery, Eldred.

BETTYLOU MASKER
Bettylou Masker of Matamoras, PA passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus. She was 66.
She was born December 14, 1941 in Greenville Township, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and the late Phoebe Devore Robbins.
She was married to Walter Pete Masker on June 9, 1962.
She was a member of the senior citizens in Matamoras.
A family statement reads: Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bingo player who also enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband Pete. She loved to cook not only for her family but for the neighborhood. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Surviving are her husband at home; two sons; Walter Masker Jr. and his wife Dawn of Indianapolis, IN and Dean Masker and his wife Mary of Lackawaxen, PA; one daughter; Holly Stevens and her husband Ross of Milford, PA; three brothers; Albert Robbins of Fulton, NY, James Robbins of Davie, FL and John Robbins of Keysville, VA; four sisters, Grace Carmody of Middletown, NY, Joan Dubies of Port Jervis, NY, Laura Potter of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Margie King of Trappe, MD, and 11 grandchildren, Heather Stevens, Ashley Philhower, Amber Masker, Brady Noga, Nicholas Stevens, Cody Masker, Destiny Masker, Vincent Masker, Michel Masker, Rylyn Masker, and Chloe Masker.
She was predeceased by her brothers Wayne, Donald, Fred, William and Jack Robbins; and her sisters Marguerite Hayes and Dixie Lee Masker.

FRANK MASTRIANNI
Frank Mastrianni of Sparrowbush, NY, passed away Saturday, August 30, at his home. He was 94.
He was born on July 24, 1914 in New York City, the son of the late Giovanni Bastist and Restituta Mastrianni.
He was a retired foreman for Powers Produce in Jamaica, NY. He married Antoinette Marino Mastrianni.
He is survived by his son, Gerald Mastrianni and his wife Marie of North Carolina; two sisters, Maria Cardone and Antoinete Majersky; two brothers, Carmine and Louis Mastrianni; his son-in-law, Stuart Pearlstein; his daughter-in-law, Melanie Benjamin Mastrianni; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife; his daughter, Maria Palleschi and his son, Frank Mastrianni.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 3 at 12:00 noon at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis, NY. Interment took place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.

KENNETH W. NOBER
Kenneth W. Nober of Narrowsburg, NY, a lifelong area resident, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, PA. He was 90.
The son of the late William and Jennie Stirret Nober, he was born June 26, 1918 in Binghamton, NY.
Kenneth was a retired master mechanic for Sullivan County Highway Department. He was a WWII Army veteran and the oldest member of the Lava Fire Department, having served for 62 years. He was a member of Tusten-Highland VFW Post 6427 and the Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club. A family statement reads: Kenneth was a good husband, father and friend. He loved life and loved people. He served his country with pride. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will greatly be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Anderson Nober; two daughters, Marie Grund and her husband Robert of Sevierville, TN and Betty Crandall and her husband Richard of Narrowsburg; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 2 at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg. Captain Joseph Russo officiated.
Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY.

FLORENCE E. BLOOM WIELAND
Florence E. Bloom Wieland of Honesdale, PA a retired caterer and lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Willard and Vivian Foster Bloom , she was born April 15, 1931 in Barryville, NY.
Flo was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, Honesdale, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, St. Tammany Chapter #492, Callicoon, NY and captain of the pool team at Leunes. She was an avid golfer and loved gardening and cooking. A family statement reads: Flo was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pride in her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone and will greatly be missed.
Survivors include four daughters, Gail Tenbus and her husband Carl, Barbara Malti and her husband Jerry, Shirley Malti and her husband Dave and Sandy Johnson and her husband Wayne, all of Honesdale; three sisters, Ruth Hendrickson of Bethel, NY, Jean Lundy of Richardford, NY and Norma Bloom of Waverly, NY; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her friend and long-time companion Charles Wieland of Narrowsburg, NY.
She is predeceased by two brothers, Charlie and Bob Bloom; and a sister, Marie Bloom.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday September 6 from l:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment of the cremains will be in Glen Clove Cemetery, Narrowsburg.
