Come for a little lunacy at First Fridays Writers Series

NARROWSBURG, NY — The First Fridays Contemporary Writers Series will host Sean Dixon, from Toronto, Canada, on September 5 at the library. Dixon’s novel about a book club that rarely reads the books but prefers to kidnap the authors and stage scenes in front of them—“The Last Days of the Lacuna Cabal”—was voted one of the top 15 books in Canada in 2007. It will enjoy its American debut in Narrowsburg.

Open mic starts at 7:30 p.m. with a signup at 7:00. Penelope Lohr will read at 8:00, with the Dixon reading at 8:30 p.m.
