JEFFERSONVILLE, NY - The historic blunder of omitting not one, but both, Bauer soccer stars from preseason descriptions of the Sullivan West teams must be a sure sign that this writer spent too much time in the sun watching softball this summer.

Lindsey and Lucas Bauer will add their fine play to the Westies' campaigns this fall, reinforcing the already famous notion of Bauer power.

Apologies are in order to any others whose names were omitted. In the whirlwind of visiting teams and talking to coaches on the fly, it’s hard to get a handle on all of the names, especially when roster sheets are not available as yet. Once the games begin, all will get their rightful due.
