Bethel Woods sold out

BETHEL, NY — Gas prices are through the roof, the cost of food is soaring and the economy has tanked, but the good times roll on anyway at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. The organization announced on August 25 that the upcoming show, featuring ’70s rock bands Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick, sold out all 15,000 tickets a week before the date of the show, which is set for August 30.

The other sold-out show this season at Bethel Woods happened when teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers took to the stage on August 14 and lured thousands of screaming young girls and their parents to the facility.

Bethel Woods is strongly urging fans to carpool to the event or, better yet, to take a bus, which is being provided by Coach USA. Buses are departing from New York City’s Port Authority, the Ridgewood NJ Park & Ride and the Middletown, NY Short Line Terminal. Go to www.bethelwoodscenter.org for more information.
