Milanville man goes to gas land for first-hand look
The Rage of Nature film to document experience

UPPER DELAWARE RIVER REGIONWhen filmmaker Josh Fox, a resident of Milanville, PA, first heard that gas exploration might be on the horizon for the Upper Delaware region, he began gathering information on the subject. The more he learned, the more concerned he became.
When he began to have trouble sleeping, Fox decided to see for himself what the industry and its manifestations looked, sounded and smelled like, as well as how it affected the humans exposed to it. Eight thousand miles and 90 days later, Fox had visited Texas, Colorado and Wyoming, and concluded, It was far worse than I imagined.

PIKE AND WAYNE COUNTIES, PAThose who recently breathed a sigh of relief over PPLs decision not to run its new powerline along Route A in Pike and Wayne Counties will need to take another deep breath as Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company (TGPC), a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation, seeks to expand its existing pipeline in those counties.

MONTICELLO, NYIts a line that perhaps has never been spoken before in the government center: Im a major orchid producer. The words came from Stuart Salinger, who also raises alpacas, mohair goats and a few other animals on his farm in Forestburgh; he also manages his familys foundations.
