Audubon sponsors trip to energy festival

The Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society (NEPAS) is sponsoring a trip to the Pennsylvania Renewable Energy & Sustainable Living Festival on Saturday, September 20. The cost is $33 for adults, $27 for ages 12 through 21 and $23 for ages 12 and under. This includes the bus, tip for driver and a discounted entrance fee to the festival.

To make reservations, call Kathy Dodge at 570/253-9250. Then send a check made out to NEPAS. Put “Energy Trip” in the memo line and mail to Kathy Dodge, 1632 Lake Ariel Highway, Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

A few workshops may require sign-up and an additional fee in advance. These are posted on the festival website, paenergyfest.com, and should be taken care of individually.

Departure will be from the Route 6 Mall east of Honesdale at 7:00 a.m. The bus will get back at around 8:30 p.m.
