From the Ground Up celebrates Sullivan’s homegrown

From plants to pottery, if it comes from Sullivan County you can find it here

YOUNGSVILLE, NY — The Cutting Garden will present its third annual festival celebrating everything that is grown, created and produced in Sullivan County from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10. According to Anne Hart, co-owner of the The Cutting Garden, the outdoor festival was created with the idea of providing a chance to bring together people who grow and create to show visitors and remind local residents just how much the county has to offer.

With more than 20 vendors, the festival will feature flowers, plants, produce, quilts, pottery, photos, woodwork and more. There will be ongoing demonstrations on everything from making floral head wreaths, infusions and teas, harvesting and drying herbs, pinching pots, floral arranging and scroll saw work.
