Casino night for Lacawac

HAWLEY, PA — The Lacawac Sanctuary, a 520 acre non-profit nature preserve on Lake Wallenpaupack, will hold its Casino Night Fundraising Gala on Friday, August 15, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Restaurant on Route 507. A ticket entitles guests to Ehrhardt’s famous buffet, hors d’oeuvres, dessert and play money for poker, blackjack, roulette, big six wheel and dice. Use your winnings to bid on a variety of auction items.

This is the sanctuary’s major fundraiser of the year. Proceeds benefit its education and preservation programs.

Tickets cost $40 per person and may be purchased from David R. Zeiler Agency Nationwide Insurance & Financial Services, Route 6, Hawley; Melanie Seagreaves at The Dime Bank, Route 507, Greentown; Barb Ridd at The Wayne Bank on Main Street, Honesdale; and at the sanctuary, 94 Sanctuary Road, Lake Ariel.
