Library celebrates the summer of the bug

MILFORD, PA — The Pike County Public Library (PCPL) invites families with children of all ages to attend Library Ant-ics at on Thursday, August 7 at the First Presbyterian Church of Milford at 300 Broad Street.

After providing six weeks of reading fun for kids from newborns to teens, Pike County Public Library’s “Catch the Reading Bug” Summer Program is coming to an end. Library Ant-ics, which is open to the public, is designed to commemorate this summer of the bug. Sponsored by the Friends of the Children’s Room of PCPL, Library Ant-ics will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a talent show and continue until approximately 7:30 p.m. with games, prizes and some truly buggy snacks for sale. Come dressed as a bug or an entomologist, if you’d like.
