Kids’ fishing derby

LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty Parks & Recreation Department will hold its annual free Children’s Fishing Derby on Saturday, July 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Hanofee Park. The fishing derby is for children ages three to 14 years old. A parent or guardian must attend. Trophies and prizes will be awarded. Children must fish from shore.

This program is funded in part by a grant from the New York State Office of Children & Family Services, through sponsorship by the Sullivan County Youth Bureau.
