Cabaret romanticism in White Lake
WHITE LAKE, NY Lee Lessack will take the stage in the Nancy LaMott room of the Bradstan Country Hotel this Sunday, July 13 at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. The admission charge of $40 covers the first beverage.
Lessack made his debut on the stage of The Nancy LaMott Room at Bradstan in 1996. He has returned numerous times both as a solo performer or with Brian Lane Green, John Boswell and Johnny Rodgers in Three Men and a Baby Grand, the original, as well as Three Men and a Baby Grand, The Rat Pack Show. His lyric baritone vocals and sophisticated yet endearing persona have made him a shining star of the international cabaret scene. Billboard Magazine calls his singing, Cabaret romanticism of a high order. Touring extensively in the United States and Europe to sold-out performances and releasing three albums, Lessack has proven himself both as performer and recording artist.
His latest recording, In Good Company, features duets with such music notables as Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Stephen Schwartz. He has also released four other critically acclaimed albums, including a live recording of a 2001 concert tour, Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs of Johnny Mercer. Too Marvelous, recorded at the famed Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, was chosen for the preliminary ballot for the 2002 Grammy Awards.
