‘Thanks for the Memories’ quilting camp to be held at PEEC

DINGMANS FERRY, PA — There will be a summer quilting camp themed “Thanks for the Memories” at Pocono Environmental Education Center from Sunday, August 10 through Friday, August 15.

During the week, participants will be guided through putting their memories into a quilt. Photos, fabric souvenirs, buttons, patches, award ribbons and other memorabilia will be used. Participants are welcome to work on any needlework project during the camp. A sewing machine is required.

Lodging rates for the week are $325 for PEEC members and $355 for non-members and include Sunday through Thursday night in a PEEC cabin and 14 meals. Non-lodging rates are $265 for PEEC members and $295 for non-members and include all meals and programming

There will also be a weekend session beginning on Friday, August 8 and ending Sunday, August 10. Lodging rates are $155 for PEEC members and $170 for non-members. Non-lodging rates are $95 for PEEC members and $110 for non-members.
