Chicago and Doobie Brothers return to Bethel Woods
BETHEL, NY Two of Americas longest running and most respected classic rock bands, Chicago and The Doobie Brothers, will appear at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, June 29.
In 40 years, Chicago has done it allfive consecutive number-one albums, 13 platinum albums, 21 top-10 singles, a Grammy and a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Formed in their namesake city in 1967, the band integrated all the musical diversity from its beloved city and wove a new sound, a rock n roll band with horns. Chicago has sold more than 100 million records and continues to tour every year to standing-room-only audiences.
The multi-platinum, Grammy-award-winning Doobie Brothers are known for blues-based songs with a rock edge and lush vocal harmonies. This legendary rock band enjoys a reputation for exciting live performances and skillful musicianship, and brings to the stage such classics as the bluesy rock of Long Train Runnin, the country-tinged Black Water and the gospel/jazz rooted Takin It To The Streets.
Reserved ticket prices are $79, $69, $49, $39 and $25 for lawn. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. performance. Parking is free.
