‘Vagina Monologues’ in Fallsburg

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will present Eve Ensler’s whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, “The Vagina Monologues,” on Friday, June 20 through Sunday, June 22 at the Rivoli Theatre, 437 Route 42.

Under the direction of Sally Gladden of Woodridge, the show features seven actresses: Gloria Bonelli of Goshen, Ann Finneran of Hurleyville, Ramona Jan of Damascus, PA, Sophia Mahmud of Port Jervis, Ashley Nygard of Woodbourne, Kendra Shambley-Greco of Monticello and Amber Schmidt of Hurleyville. Mimi Keys of Port Jervis is the stage manager and Jim Schmidt of Hurleyville the technical director.

As the title suggests, this show contains mature content and is not suitable for children.

The curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens (62+) and $7 for students with valid student ID.

No advance reservations are necessary; tickets will be on sale at the box office one hour prior to curtain for each performance. This production is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
