Eight minutes of fame

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Hamish & Henry Booksellers’ season of open mic events will kick off on Friday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. with an evening hosted by local author, literary critic, speaker and blogger extraordinaire Deirdre Sinnott.

Members of the public are invited to bring up to eight minutes of work to the bookstore and be ready to read. To sign up in advance, e-mail info@hamishandhenry.com or call 845/439-8029. Or if you’re a last minute type, just show up.
