Bradstan set for summer

Tony nominee Andreas to open summer cabaret season

BETHEL, NY — Christine Andreas, a two-time Tony Award nominee for her portrayals of Laurey in “Oklahoma” and Frankie Frayne in “On Your Toes,” will open the Bradstan Country Inn’s summer cabaret season in the Nancy LaMott Room at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

Andreas made her Broadway debut starring as Eliza Doolittle in the 25th anniversary production of “My Fair Lady” opposite Sir Ian Richardson, for which she received the Theater World Award. Most recently, Christine starred in the national company of “A Light in the Piazza.”

Also on Broadway she appeared in “Words and Music,” “Angel Street,” “Legs Diamond” and the Broadway-bound and derailed Erté production of “Stardust,” and starred as Marguerite St. Just in Frank Wildhorn’s “The Scarlet Pimpernel.”

Andreas has appeared in most of the top name cabaret rooms around the world including the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, The Café Carlyle and Feinstein’s at the Regency Hotel.

The admission fee of $40 includes the first beverage. Reservations are required.
