Bradstan set for summer
Tony nominee Andreas to open summer cabaret season
BETHEL, NY Christine Andreas, a two-time Tony Award nominee for her portrayals of Laurey in Oklahoma and Frankie Frayne in On Your Toes, will open the Bradstan Country Inns summer cabaret season in the Nancy LaMott Room at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.
Andreas made her Broadway debut starring as Eliza Doolittle in the 25th anniversary production of My Fair Lady opposite Sir Ian Richardson, for which she received the Theater World Award. Most recently, Christine starred in the national company of A Light in the Piazza.
Also on Broadway she appeared in Words and Music, Angel Street, Legs Diamond and the Broadway-bound and derailed Erté production of Stardust, and starred as Marguerite St. Just in Frank Wildhorns The Scarlet Pimpernel.
Andreas has appeared in most of the top name cabaret rooms around the world including the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, The Café Carlyle and Feinsteins at the Regency Hotel.
The admission fee of $40 includes the first beverage. Reservations are required.
