Learn nature journaling at Grey Towers

MILFORD PA —A nature journaling workshop will introduce the fundamentals of conservation field journaling from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Grey Towers National Historic Site.

Artist/naturalist Jim Lockyer of Media, PA, will teach the basic techniques to get participants started on their own. The workshop is for all skill levels from beginner to advanced, and an ability to draw is not required, as this workshop encourages a variety of personal expression from drawing to the written word.

The workshop will also include a brief introduction to the history of nature journaling and help participants hone their observation skills.

More details on the workshop and a materials list for what to bring to participate is available at natjour.com.

The workshop fee is $45 for Pocono Arts Center (PAC) members and $55 for non-members. PAC accepts credit cards or checks. Pre-registration is required and a minimum of six students is required; less than six students could result in cancellation of the workshop.

For more information call 570/476-4460.
