How does your garden grow? Try a plant swap

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Narrowsburg Beautification Group’s (NBG) annual Plant Swap & Bake Sale will be held at the Mews on Narrowsburg’s Main Street, between The Nest and Roasters, on Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for those who have more plants of some species than they know what to do with to bring them down and swap them for someone else’s extras. If you’d like more plants for your own garden but don’t have anything to swap, make a monetary donation to the Narrowsburg Beautification Group. There also will be home-baked goods for sale.

Participants are requested to stop in at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch Library ahead of time to pick up labels for the plants they’ll be swapping. It is helpful to the group if you provide plant names and growing conditions for any plant contributions. Labels can also be printed out by clicking on the following link and following the directions: worksbyhand.com/PlantLabels.pdf
