Forestburgh Playhouse to hold auditions

FORESTBURGH, NY — The Forestburgh Playhouse will hold auditions on Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the playhouse in Forestburgh, NY for local children and adults interested in performing in this summer’s productions.

Producer Normal Duttwiler is looking for high school- or college-age singers for to fill out the ensembles in all of its main stage musicals, and hopes to feature young local actors in our entire children’s theatre season. The original adaptations of popular children’s stories include “The Road to Oz,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Treasure Island” and “Snow White.” Older character actors, male and female, are also sought for various roles throughout the season.
