Medina and Fife advance
Monticello’s Gabby Medina shot a 48-42-90 to finish fifth in the first round of the Section Nine girls golf championships at West Point Golf Course. Sullivan West’s Jillian Fife also qualified by shooting 57-61-118 to finish in 15th place. The top 19 golfers advanced to the final round on May 26 at the Orange County Golf Club in Middletown, NY.
