Sullivan County Energy Commission Announces Public Meetings

MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan County Energy Conservation and Generation Commission on May 8 unveiled the schedule for its upcoming public meetings on topics ranging from conservation and auditing to bulk purchasing and energy generation.

The first public meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Hearing Room of the County Legislature in Monticello. Patrice Courtney-Strong of Mid-Hudson Energy $mart will speak about energy audits, retrofitting, new construction and the development of policy for energy conservation.

Additional meetings will be held on Thursday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 27, at 12:00 noon and on Thursday, July 10, at 7:00 p.m.
