Theyre triple threats at Sullivan West
Students, faculty show off multiple dramatic talents at spring show
LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY The Sullivan West Drama Club will present four one-act plays, three performed by students and one featuring faculty, on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Two of the plays are directed by students. Senior John Taylor is student-directing Sakis The Open Window, and freshman Sommer Johansen and senior Mackenzie Roeder are co-directing Labels, which was also written by Johansen.
Nobody Sleeps a drawing-room comedy with a wry twist by Guernsey Le Pelley, will be performed by a student ensemble directed by visiting teacher Pam Mudge-Wood.
This is a Test will be performed by a cadre of talented teachers, directed by veteran Sullivan West High School producer Russ Johansen.
During the intermission, members of the Sullivan West Senior Choir will sing cabaret numbers. Refreshments will be available.
