CAS hosts exhibit

of student artwork

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society (CAS) is currently hosting the CAS Sullivan County High School Art Show, a new exhibition of work by Sullivan County High School Students at the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main Street. The exhibition, which will run through Sunday, May 18, appears throughout the gallery, includes the works of students from Liberty, Monticello, Livingston Manor, Eldred, Tri-Valley and Fallsburg school districts. Artwork will include a wide variety of media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, 35mm photography, computer imaging and sculpture. First- and second-prize winners were selected by an outside jury panel of artists and experts in each of 10 categories, and students were invited to the center to select a Student Prize award in each category as well.

Gallery hours for the exhibit are Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. or by appointment.
