Its going to be a big summer for children this year at the Forestburgh Playhouse, said producer Norman Duttweiler. Were presenting two shows that feature children. In both shows, were looking for both featured roles and childrens ensemble roles. Depending upon availability, some children may be cast in both shows, and even some of the childrens shows. Previous stage experience is helpful, especially for the featured roles, but not necessarily required.
Children should be prepared to sing. They can either bring a musical selection with sheet music, or they can sing Happy Birthday by themselves. The audition will be held on a first-come first-served basis. Children will sign up when they arrive at Liberty Middle School on the morning of the audition, and they will be auditioned in the order they signed up.
