Earth Day Family Festival at PEEC
DINGMANS FERRY, PAThe Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will host its 13th annual Earth Day Family Festival on Sunday, April 20.
During the festival, children and adults will have a chance to see a live animal presentation from Pete Machevich from the Pocono Snake & Animal Farm, listen to live music from Wooden Spoon and take part in a hands-on cultural drumming program with drummer Obi Kaye.

Stunning Sound of Music sets new standard of excellence

MONTICELLO, NYAudiences simply loved The Sound of Music, staged at Monticello High School on April 10-12. The matinee performance on April 10 afforded senior citizens a chance to see the show without the inconvenience of having to travel at night. They were joined by classes of younger children, who were transfixed by the shows fine acting, great singing and orchestration.

Rare O2L performance to benefit humane society
MILFORD, PAThe Mt. Haven Resort will host a rare Milford performance by the group O2L to benefit the Pike County Humane Society on Saturday, April 26. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-show cash bar cocktail party downstairs in the resorts Mingles Night Club, complete with hors dvoeuvres. At 7:30, guests will be invited upstairs to feast on Mt. Havens lavish all-you-care-to-eat Italian buffet.
