It’s party time

MONTICELLO, NY — Thunder 102 is ready to party again at Monticello Gaming & Raceway with ThunderBash, on Saturday, April 19. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. to the grandstand area at Monticello Gaming & Raceway.

The event, featuring Iron Cowboy, will mark the third year Thunder 102 will throw a listener appreciation party for its ThunderHeads. In April 2007, ThunderBash ’07 welcomed over 5,000 fans to Monticello Gaming & Raceway. This year, more than 12,000 tickets have been distributed.

Anyone who shows their ThunderBash ’08 ticket at the Players’ Club at Monticello Gaming & Raceway the night of the show prior to 4:00 p.m. will receive a $5 off coupon that can be used at the Winner’s Circle Buffet.

Born from members of XCountry, who appeared at the last two ThunderBash events, Iron Cowboy plays a mix of modern country with a southern rock flare. Iron Cowboy members and fans call it “country music with horsepower.” Later this summer, Iron Cowboy will be opening ThunderFest for country-music favorite and headliner Craig Morgan.
